Organization
The board of directors is the highest executive body of the GTSM. The chairman convenes and presides over board meetings, and represents the organization as a whole. Under the board of directors, one president manages company business, while one or two vice presidents along with one executive director assist the president. The GTSM has departments for Listing Examination, Listing Supervision, Trading, Bond, Information, Auditing, Administration, Planning, as well as an independent Compliance Department that reports directly to the Board of Directors.
● Examine stocks and derivatives under application for GTSM listing or emerging stock registration.
● Draft, study, and propagate related rules and regulations.
Listing Supervision Department
● Supervise and administer stock issuers.
● Draft, study, and propagate related rules and regulations.
Trading Department
● Manage trading and settlement operations for GTSM traded stocks and derivatives.
● Set up, manage, and implement the market surveillance system.
● Draft, study, and propagate related rules and regulations, and administer securities firms trading on the GTSM.
Bond Department
● Handle the GTSM listing of bonds and derivative products and administration of their issuers.
● Manage trading and settlement operations for bonds and derivatives.
● Draft, study, and propagate related rules and regulations, and administer bond dealers trading on the GTSM.
Information Department
● Produce GTSM trading information and statistical data.
● Plan and develop computer systems and related software applications.
● Administer trading data, files, and servers.
Auditing Department
● Carry out audits of the finances and business activities of securities firms.
● Review financial and business reports from select securities firms.
Administration Department
● Oversee board meeting agendas, and file and document disposal management.
● Purchase, hold, and maintain contract services and assets.
● Oversee public relations and business communications, as well as personnel and accounting affairs.
Planning Department
● Marketing, research and development, and project planning.
● Liason for exchanging information with international securities-related bodies.
● Host, co-sponsor, and participate in international conferences.
Internal Audit Office
● Administer the internal auditing as well as the internal controls of the GTSM.
